14…His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow
The Lord’s hair perfectly suggests the details reported by Daniel in his vision of “the Ancient of days” on His throne.[1]
14…and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace and His voice as the sound of many waters…
These details align nearly exactly with the specifics of Daniel’s vision in Daniel 10:6:
His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
Revelation 1: head and hairs white like wool, as white as snow
Daniel 7: The hair of his head like the pure wool
Daniel 10: ---
Revelation 1: his eyes as a flame of fire
Daniel 7: ---
Daniel 10: his eyes as lamps of fire
Revelation 1: his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace
Daniel 7: ---
Daniel 10: his feet like in colour to polished brass
Revelation 1: His voice as the sound of many waters
Daniel 7: ---
Daniel 10: the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
These are the final features of the vision of the glorified Christ granted unto John. There are three details:
He held seven stars in his right hand. He will Himself, shortly reveal the meaning of these stars.
Out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, presumably indicating that the things He is going to say to the seven churches of Asia will cut with divine authority.
He countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. No one can even look steadfastly at the sun when it is shining in its “strength.” How much more the face of the Son of God!

How does this portion of the Truth given by God in the book of The Revelation help me to better see and understand the Revelation of Jesus Christ?
What have learned about Jesus Christ from these five verses?
What is clear here is that the Lord that Daniel describes is the same Lord as John saw in his vision. Any supposed “meaning” of these details would be speculative at best, and turn our attention away from the overwhelming nature of the entirety of the revelation as a whole. We would do better to simply ask ourselves this question:
Is this the Christ that we preach/teach in the churches in the present day?
[1] Daniel 7:9: “…and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool.”
